LoopShift for Playdate

Crank. Slide. Sort.

A bead-sorting puzzle for Playdate, inspired by a classic wooden two-loop slider toy.

Turn the crank to rotate a loop. Slide the shuttle across to carry beads between sides. Sort all 21 solid beads into the closed left loop and all 15 hollow beads into the right U, then dock the shuttle on the left to finish.

• Crank controls, plus a full D-pad alternative.
• Seeded puzzles, move counter, and up to 200 steps of undo.
• Synthesized music and sound effects, each with an on/off setting.
• Adjustable crank speed, reversed crank direction, and dark mode.
• Distinct solid and hollow bead shapes.

Controls

Crank or Up/Down: rotate. Left/Right or A: slide the shuttle. B: undo. System menu: new puzzle, help, and settings.

Download the zipped .pdx bundle and sideload it at play.date/account/sideload, or extract it and open LoopShift.pdx in the free Playdate Simulator.

Tested in the Simulator only; not yet tested on physical hardware. Settings are saved, but unfinished puzzles are not saved when you quit. Screenshots are from the Simulator.
